Always thought of trying rice water for your hair? Well now’s your chance! Rice water has many benefits for hair – it helps to remove dandruff, strengthen the strands, stimulate their growth, give vitality, and significantly improve their appearance. The composition of rice water is rich in vitamins, especially B and C. It also contains trace elements – potassium, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese and a lot of fiber. This is a real treasure trove of nutrients that nourish the follicles and repair damaged cells.
1 cup rice water ( for medium to long hair )
Put 1 cup rice in a large bowl with water.
Rinse the rice so it’s clean
Soak the rice for about 30 minutes
Swirl the rice around until the water is cloudy
Strain rice water and store in fridge for upto two days
Wash hair with shampoo and rinse as normal. Spray or rinse hair with rice water and massage into the scalp. Keep it on for 5 to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
